Dr. Jharna Mahajan Bhanushali

Dr. Jharna Mahajan (Bhanushali) is a distinguished consultant neurologist, known for her academic excellence, clinical acumen, and patient-focused approach to neurological care. With a special interest in neuromuscular disorders, she offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment across the spectrum of neurological conditions.

Dr. Mahajan completed her super-specialization in Neurology (D.M.) from the Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Mumbai, where she was awarded the Gold Medal for academic excellence—recognizing her as the top-performing student in the university. She earlier earned her M.D. in Internal Medicine from the same institute, and her M.B.B.S. degree from the esteemed Grant Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai.

She has had the honour and privilege of working in the outpatient clinics of some of India’s most eminent neurologists—Padma Shri Dr. B. S. Singhal, Dr. S. V. Khadilkar, and Dr. N. E. Bharucha—whose mentorship has deeply shaped her clinical philosophy and commitment to excellence.

She is an active member of the Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN), Bombay Neurosciences Association (BNA), and the Maharashtra Association of Neurology (MAN), reflecting her strong engagement with the academic neurology community.
